Jamie is a Partnership Manager at Skillset and is responsible for coordinating major strands of work for the fashion and textiles sector in Scotland, liaising with strategic partners and consulting with employers to make sure their views are represented in our activity.
He is currently involved with setting up industry-wide advisory groups, engaging with key training providers and trade associations whilst supporting our Fashion and Textiles Skills Council in developing strategy for work in the sector.
Previously, Jamie was the Head of Qualifications, Standards and Operations for Skillfast-UK, the former Sector Skills Council representing fashion and textiles and he has had 15 years of experience of working in education and training.
